Save me, O God, for the water’s rising
Into the depths, I am sinking down
Deliver me, for the floods surround me
Don’t let the waters cover over me

Save me O God,  for you are my hope

I am worn out now from calling for you
My eyes, they fail from looking for my God
I pray to you, Lord, in your great love, Lord
Please answer me with salvation’s hope

Save me O God,  for you are my hope

Out of your goodness, in your great mercy
Turn unto me and do not hide your face
Answer me quickly, for I am in trouble
Come near and rescue me what I fear

May your salvation protect and guide me
Your name I’ll praise and glorify
The poor may see you, and those who seek you
May be glad and know their hearts will live
Save me O God,  for you are my hope

Let earth and heaven, the mighty waters
Give praise to God, from whom salvation comes
God will rebuild all the broken people
And those who love the Lord will dwell in peace

Save me O God,  for you are my hope
Save me O God,  for you are my hope
